Anne Frank's Diary: Class MemesAs we complete our next round of textual analysis, this time with texts that compliment Anne Frank's famous diary, I want you to take the common theme you come up with and turn it into a meme. It should be appropriate for school (duh), and also appropriate for the subject matter we're studying. Please be respectful and considerate as you develop your meme. Post your meme in response to this blog entry. Make sure to include your name, so I know who to give credit to!

Part of my job as your teacher is to figure out who you are and how to best teach you, as an individual. However, I have discovered that most of you have a different personality when it comes to interacting with your teachers. In fact, there are probably certain things about you that you would never portray around me, or any other teacher. I want to know those things.
Because I'll never ask you to do something that I'm not willing to do myself, I'll answer the question. As a middle school student, I would have been horrified if my teachers discovered that, most of the time, I was so bored with whatever they were teaching or whatever way they were teaching, that I often made detailed plans on how I could better teach whatever I was supposed to be learning at that moment. As a teacher, I am nervous for you, as my students, to know that sometimes, I get bored teaching you the lesson I have prepared. Luckily, that is when I know I need to do my job better, because if I am bored teaching it, you are probably bored learning it. Now it is your turn. Tell me what you don't want me to know! If, when you comment, you would rather remain anonymous, you don't have to leave your name. Also, realize that this is a public forum, and you'll be able to read each other's comments. Only post what you're comfortable with. |
PurposeThis is to facilitate online discussions. Sometimes they will be just for fun, and sometimes they will be assignments. Either way, I want your input! ArchivesCategories |
